Amritsar is a city in the northwestern Indian state of Punjab, 28 kilometers from the border with Pakistan. At the center of its walled old town, the gilded Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib) is the holiest gurdwara (religious complex) of the Sikh religion. It's at the end of a causeway, surrounded by the sacred Amrit Sarovar tank (lake), where pilgrims bathe.
Day 01 : Arrive Chandigarh to Chandigarh
Arrive Chandigarh, transfer to hotel and check in. Proceed for visiting the famous Rock Garden - the lifetime dream of Mr. Nek Chand, Sukhna Lake - the beautiful lake that is the major attraction of Chandigarh. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02 : Chandigarh to Amritsar Wagah Border and Local Sightseeing
Early mroning check out from hotel and transfer by surface to Amritsar. Directly transfer to Wagah Border. Evening visit the Golden Temple (The famous Sikh pilgrim place) and Jaliawalan Bagh. Overnight at hotel.
Golden Temple The most important sikh shrine which is also called Mecca for the Sikhs is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs.
Then visit Jallianwala Bagh On April 13, 1919, British soldiers opened fire on an unarmed forbidden gathering, killing hundreds of civilians.
Day 03 : Amritsar to Chandigarh Drop
After Breakfast check out from htoel and drive to Chandigarh. Evening drop at Chandigarh Airport / Rly Stn for onward journey.
